About the Pattern
By The Seaside Sock

The blend of Superwash Blue Faced Leicester and Nylon yarn used here gives a soft but very hardwearing sock. The patterning is light and lacy and is based on a Victorian Pattern Stitch representing sea shells. The colours are reminiscent of seaside beach huts and Punch & Judy Theatres.

A super project to while away the hours and relax on your holidays or anytime of the year using other colourways!

How it's done
By The Seaside Sock Heel

You can make these socks using one skein (100 grams) of handpainted Woolhunter 7525M Sock. This will make one pair of women's medium sized socks for shoe size 4-7 (US 6-9). Finished foot length is approx 9½ inches but this can be adjusted by knitting extra/less rows to suit your feet. Similarly the finished foot circumference is 8 inches.

Tension/Gauge is 8 Stitches per inch in stockinette stitch using 1 set (5 pins) of double pointed 2.5 mm (US 1-2) needles. You may wish to adjust the needles up or down to get the correct gauges.

You will also need 1 Large "eyed" darning needle.

This pattern is for sale from the Woolhunter shop. I can either send it through the post or electronically in pdf format.
