This lovely scarf is made using a combination of my Scottish Lambswool fingering weight yarn and my Blue Faced Leicester Flame yarn. The differing textures from both yarns gives a stunning Bargello style effect.
The colourway used here was called Aubergine Dream. Both yarns were dyed using the same dye lot but they have reacted differently to the uptake of dye. This has produced a brighter effect for the lambswool and paler, more muted tones on the Flame.
I made this scarf using about 100 grams of Woolhunter BFL Chunky Flame yarn and about 45 grams of Woolhunter Scottish Lambswool fingering weight yarn.
Tension/Gauge is unimportant and you should use 6 mm/US 10 needles.
This pattern is for sale from the Woolhunter shop. I can either send it through the post or electronically in pdf format.
